Spring is just around the corner! Join us on March 10 for “Seed Starting” and to build your own mini-greenhouse to nurture plants until outdoor planting time. Refreshments will be served at 12:30 p.m., with the program and meeting following at 1 p.m. Quarterly decorations this month will be provided by April
Zentmeyer, Connie Lenhart, and Dusty Graham; the house flowers will be provided by hostesses Mary Anne Kamas, Maureen Grenier, Marilyn Galley, and Bernadette Raimondi. Thanks to all.
Now is the time to plant! District 5 has offered a Landscape Design course from March 25 – 26 and freetickets to the Maryland Home and Garden Show (February 28 – March 1, and March 6 – 8 in Timonium.) RSVP soon so we can get your tickets. Matt Blashaw, from HGTV’s Yard Crashers and Craig Conover
from Bravo’s Southern Charm, will be featured along with 400 local crafters and experts, seven landscaped feature gardens, and the annual Orchid Society Show. Move over Philadelphia!
The next District 5 meeting is March 6 at Holly Hills Country Club. Please RSVP to Connie Lenhart to join us. April 28 will be the Federated Garden Clubs of MD meeting at Turf Valley.
We are gearing up for the June 13 House & Garden Tour. Crossroads will be designing arrangements for each house, so choose a house and a team and let April & Connie know your choice. We collected over 11 pounds of soft plastic this month. You go, Ladies!

Our holiday luncheon will be held Tuesday, December 9, beginning at 11:30 a.m. in the parlor, followed by lunch in Prospect Hall, then a tour of the Miller House. Watch for details in an e-mail from Donna Fuss.
Thanks to all who purchased Buckeyes – they were a sellout! The Greens Show, featuring Jackie Gambill of Freesia and Vine of Frederick was very successful. Thanks to Mary Anne Kamas and her team. Thanks also to Carol Brashears for quarterly decorations in the entry and on the Prospect Hall mantle. Next up on January 13 – Bay Wise.
