Our April meeting, with refreshments at 12:30 and program at 1, will feature Ellen Strock leading us in creating Spring Baskets for local nursing home residents. Members have collected over 156 pounds of plastic and planted 1000 bulbs for the District V Federated Garden Club competitions. Congratulations to Carol Brashears, who has been elected to represent us as Parliamentarian. Thanks to Sukey Rankin for organizing the maintenance of the Women’s Club Memorial Gardens and to April meeting hostesses Tina Angle, Terry Harbert, Sandy Klimek, and Kris Turner for house flowers this month.
April is National Gardening Month. Washington County’s Art in Bloom fundraiser will be held from
