Book Talk will meet on April 22nd to discuss “The Cellist of Sarajevo” by Steven Galloway. Fact and fiction blend to tell the story of ordinary citizens of Sarajevo being indiscriminately wounded and killed by snipers in the 1990’s. During the siege a cellist caught the attention of people around the world by playing his cello for twenty-two days in memory of the twenty-two victims he witnessed being killed.
